East and Super Team Rules                            

1. Rule Changes: The decision of the tournament director is final in all matters and are not subject to appeal.
2. Registration: will begin one hour prior to take-off at the host marina.  You can pre-register by filling out the above inforamation and clicking submit.  THis will send it to me in an e-mail.  When I receive your complete entry form, you will receive your boat number.  In addition to mailing your entry fee, you can drop it off at Concession One on Lake Tyler, or at Lake Palestine Resort on Lake Palestine (we have boxes set up in both places.
3. Participation/Eligibility: You must be member of ETCBA prior to competing in any ETCBA qualifying event.
Anyone under 18 years of age must have the signature of their parent or legal guardian. The tournament Director has the right to refuse entry to anyone. 
4. Scoring: Only large mouth, Smallmouth and spotted or Kentucky bass 14 inches or greater in length will be
weighed. The tournament limit is five, any contestant (TEAM) who at any time during tournament hours has more than
the limit in their possession will be disqualified.
5. Live fish: Every effort must be made to keep bass alive through the use of a properly aerated livewell. dead
fish will not be weighed.  If you bring a dead fish to the scales, you will be penalized one pound off you teams total.  
6. Late penalty: Contestants who are not at the official check-in area at the appointed time will be penalized
one pound per minute deducted from the total weight, including any weight to be counted towards a big bass
award. Any contestant more than 10 minutes late will forfeit that days catch.
7. Teams: You must maintain the same partner throughout the season. If you change partners, the
tournament in which you changed partners will not be added to your existing points.
8. Safety: Safe boating will be observed at all times. Each contestant must wear a fastened, u.s. coast guard
approved, personal flotation device anytime your boat is on plane.
9. Permitted fishing methods: All bass must be caught alive in a conventional sporting manner. Only artificial
lures may be used with the exception of pork trailers. Only one rod may be used at a time. Trolling with the
combustion engine as a method of fishing is prohibited. Your team may only weigh-in fish caught by your team.
Sharing fish with other teams will result in immediate disqualification.
10. Off Limits: For ETCBA Qualifying events the Tournament Lake will be off Limits from Wednesday
thru Friday preceding the Tournament unless your entry has been paid.
11. Sportsmanship/conduct: All contestants are required to follow high standards, courtesy, and conservation. Unsportmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. 
12  Alcohol/non-prescription drugs: The use of alcohol and or any non-prescription drugs during tournament
hours (from take-off until the last scales are closed) will result in immediate disqualification.
13. Boat operation: During the hours of competition, contestants may not receive assistance from a non
competitor, follow a non competitors boat. The use of cell phones, walkie-talkies, c.b's, and or marine radios to
receive fishing information is strictly prohibited.
14. Permitted fishing locations: Contestants may fish anywhere on tournament waters accessible by boat,
except are As designated "off limits", or "no fishing" or within 50 yards of a competitors boat that is anchored
with the trolling motor out of the water, or within 25 yards of another competitors boat unless agreed upon by
both anglers.
15. Ties: All ties for cash prizes will be split equally between the two contending parties
16. Trailering: No trailering.
17. Angler of the year payout: AOY will fish for free in 2009 (in the same division).
18. Weigh-in bags: All fish must be brought to the scales in a weigh-in bag, if you do not have one we will have
them available.
19. Foul language will not be tolerated around the check-in/weigh-in area.
20. Jet drive boats: If you fish out of a jet drive boat, you use that boat to compete out of for the remainder of the
season.
21.Championship: Top half of the average and those who fish all four tournaments in either division will qualify for
championship.
22. Take-off:   You will be sent out in the order that you sign up.
23. Tournament Hours: Take-off will begin at safe-light or 6:00am whichever comes first.  Your number will be called
in the order that you signed-up.  First weigh-in will be at 3:00pm and every 10 minutes thereafter. Ex: 1-30 due in
at 3:00pm 31-60 due in at 3:10pm etc....
24. Check-in: When you check in, you must have your fish with you and be prepared to weigh-in.
2008 boat numbers in the East and Super Teams Divisions will be
assigned in the order that you register below.
