Lake O' Pines June 7, 2008
Left: Donny Walters (ETCBA Director), Jim Tutt (Kellogg's Pro), and  Brian Brannum (Gambler Baits Rep.).  Jim and Brian located an area no bigger than the boat three weeks prior to the tournament. They managed a 6#'r and left the area.  They went back the next weekend during a tournament and did not get bit.  Knowing that this area would turn on, they decided to go back today, and were surprised at what they found.  They managed to cull several times today with an ending weight of 29.20, which top a field of some of the best sticks on Lake O' Pines.  The area was a 7' grass bed on the north end of the lake that had mussel and bream beds neaby.  They managed all thier fish on Texas rigged Berkley worms and Brush Hogs in Watermelon.
Left to Right: Brian Brannum, Hannah Walters (The Little Boss), and Jim Tutt.  Hannah had to personally congratulate the guys on thier win.
Left: Cliff Kirby with the 98.3fm Big Bass of the day, a whopping 9.60.  Patrick Lambright and Cliff Kirby had a limit by 8:30am.  They were working Crankbaits in shallow water on the North end of the lake.  They said "although we did not win, we had a banner day, culling several times and catching fish all day".
Mike Cannon and David Lyles looking for the scales.
